Description

With more than 20 years as a special educator, Richard Homutoff is currently the Special Services Coordinator for Redlands Unified School District. He has served as a moderate to severe disabilities K-transition levels Education Specialist, adjunct faculty for Azusa Pacific University, and is a former administrator for Azusa Unified School District.

Dr. Richard Homutoff will be leading three workshops on IEPs over the course of Spring 2017. These workshops are meant to supplement what you are learning/have learned in the classroom. Single Subject, Multiple Subjects, SPED, School Counseling and School Psychology candidates and alumni are welcome to attend.

1. Understanding IEPs and the Process (2/25)
2. Transition Planning (4/29)

What is the Individual Transition Plan (ITP)? This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the ITP. You will receive information on transition planning assessments, post-secondary goals and how to develop an ITP that meets the federal mandates.

3. Legally Defensible Assessments (5/20)
